Hmmm. Well Hes already said he will give them to me and told me to give him "whatever I want to" for them. I certainly havent any intention of giving him 1200 US or anything like it. He would refuse if I offered him more than a tenth of that I think. Maybe after Ive obtained them I can sell them on EBay myself, and retire. Hard back books are becoming redundant anyway, other than as collectors pieces. I hear most of the juicy stuff is available on CDs now like "Rutherfords rainbow". Not that most people would be interested in reading the material if they had it. Lol.

one of the apostates here in melbourne has grown weary of his dub/cult literature and has given me his full set of russell wts, 1879 thru 1916 reprints in very fine condition.
also his complete collection of rutherford books such as government, harp, enemies etc.

Anyway, with regard to the political threads, I got to confess I dont even read them, let alone comment. I think America (politically) is the most dangerous country on the planet and I deplore what theyre doing. But I dont want to argue the matter with 50 "patriots", so I basically keep my trap shut.

Why is a trauma to move out from an organisation like the j.w ?
by arancia ini was converted j.w about 15years ago but last year i got to know what sort of people they were in reality.
my husband and i made the decision in five minutes.within few days we sent a very brief letter that stated in few words that we were living the oganisation disgusted for what we so in tv on channel 9 the previous sunday.
we reach very fast that decision because we freely and voluntarily got in ,therefore with the same spirit got out.

A lot of the problem lies in the difference between the external world as the dubs have painted it and the external world in reality. A lot of dubs have little experience of life without the WT to hold their hand and tell them what to do. As well, The WT religion being laced with so much powerful and strong emotion generating propaganda and imagery, a lot of dubs find the world outside of dubdom, without those powerful stimili, hard to handle.

Why doesn't the WTS website have a discussion forum?
by Holey_Cheeses*King_of_the juice. insince the jws main mission in their miserable lives is to 'preach the good news of the kingdom', why is is that there is really no means to interact with the wts website?.
certainly, many pioneers could be engaged in the activity of answering the many enquiries that would be directed through such an 'official' discussion board, and it would definitely be a means for the pioneers of accumulating many precious hours of witnessing to those 'hungering for the truth'.. surely the society couldn't believe that such a site would be inundated with doubting and disgruntled individuals with an 'axe to grind' with them.
i am sure that there would be many members here who would have many sincere enquiries to make with the society, without wanting to disrupt, or harass.

Well i suppose the WT is caught in a bit of a bind, Cheezes. They know that the Internet is a great means of outreach, so they cant very well NOT be on the net because theyd look nutty and extremist just like the Exclusive Brethren who yearn for the days of the horse and cart and candlepower. But neither do the dubs want free discussion or for that matter any kind of intenet discussion because theyre terrified of people actually talking to each other online and, God forbid, exchanging THOUGHTS without the WT being able to control the exchange.
So as a compromise they hang up the sterile, braindead website that they, in fact, have.

Also his complete collection of Rutherford books such as Government, Harp, Enemies etc. It appears that most of Rutherfords books are in the collection. As well, theres a multiple volume "History of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints".Yummy. What fun it will be posting select tidbits.
I suppose It would be appropriate to at least give him some financial reward. How much do you reckon would be fair?

Ray . All of those bands were huge ozzie bands in the 80s. The Angels "Am I ever gonna see youre face again" is a classic that still lives. And The Divynils had many great songs, they were led by a woman who dressed like a naughty schoolgirl, called Chrissy Amphlette.Check out Aussie Crawls "Sons of Beaches". lol

his poor mother, who was scitzophrenic, was hospitalised as the shock sent her into an attack.
